An Incredible Evening – Thank You!

We had the most incredible evening, and we are truly overwhelmed by the support from everyone who took part.

Jenny would have been so proud — the kindness and generosity shown in her name were deeply moving and profoundly humbling. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the night so special:

  • Those who donated auction lots
  • Everyone who attended the event
  • All who placed pre-bids
  • Supporters who kindly gave to the JustGiving page
  • And the amazing team who helped set up and clean up the venue

  • For those that won a bid and need to pay we will be contacting you over the next few days or please email info@jennysfund.co.uk

Your generosity and support have made a lasting impact. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.

An update of funds raised will be coming soon.

Our gorgeous Jenny passed gracefully and peacefully on the 22nd April. Thanks so much for all the love 💕 Thanks especially to the amazing team at St Julia’s Hospice. True angels on earth.

We’ll make sure Jen’s wish of raising £10k for them, and stomach cancer research, comes true ✨

We are pleased to announce a new date the Charity Auction - Saturday 4th of October ! xx.

We know that Jenny's wishes would be for this magnificent and fun event to happen so we can make as much money as possible. We so look forward to you supporting this worthy charity auction.
St Julia's Hospice
Cornwall’s hospices, Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle, The team at Cornwall Hospice Care, St Julia's, are dedicated to providing a range of care and support for people with life-limiting conditions, ensuring that they get the care they need, when they need it, within their local community.

This is the message from Paul Brinsley, chief executive of Cornwall Hospice Care “Providing free end of life care to the community of Cornwall is a privilege, but it’s a precarious one. Just 9.5% of our income is supported by government money through a grant from the NHS Integrated Care Board.  This is in stark contrast to the 30+% received by hospice charities elsewhere in the country and which is the figure being reported at present.“Despite this huge monetary challenge, we’re continuing to keep all 20 of our hospice beds at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice in St Austell and St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle, open.  We don’t charge for any of the support we give.”

 Meet Jenny

1963 - 2025

Mum of two, Jenny Gill was with diagnosed with Signet Cell Cancer in March 2024, which is also known as signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC). It's a rare, aggressive cancer that can develop in many organs. She was given less than a year to live.

In true Jenny style, she was determined to fight and make the most of her time with us all. So, a year on, with the help of chemotherapy, the love of friends and family and the need of what she called 'the fire in her belly', Jenny was enjoying all life has to offer. And wanted to complete a particular mission.

She wanted to raise awareness of this awful cancer, that often goes undiagnosed and undetected. To support the organisations working tirelessly with people who are diagnosed. And to inject this work with hope, joy and fun.

Help us raise vital funds, as we put on a fantastic night with funds raised to be split equally between St Julia's Hospice and The Treliske Research Team. The funding will be specific for reasearch on stomach cancer and to St Julia's Hospice.

This event is all about having fun, generosity, and good times.

All while raising awareness and vital funds for St Julia's Hospice and stomach cancer awareness.

Let’s fill the room, raise our glasses, and make a difference. Together
