Mum of two, Jenny Gill was with diagnosed with Signet Cell Cancer in March 2024, which is also known as signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC). It's a rare, aggressive cancer that can develop in many organs. She was given less than a year to live.
In true Jenny style, she was determined to fight and make the most of her time with us all. So, a year on, with the help of chemotherapy, the love of friends and family and the need of what she called 'the fire in her belly', Jenny was enjoying all life has to offer. And wanted to complete a particular mission.
She wanted to raise awareness of this awful cancer, that often goes undiagnosed and undetected. To support the organisations working tirelessly with people who are diagnosed. And to inject this work with hope, joy and fun.
Help us raise vital funds, as we put on a fantastic night with funds raised to be split equally between St Julia's Hospice and The Treliske Research Team. The funding will be specific for reasearch on stomach cancer and to St Julia's Hospice.
