trauma informed Integrative Counsellor, Embodied Psychotherapist, Pesso Boyden Practitioner and Yoga Teacher. My private practice is situated in a warm, welcoming space near Penzance in Cornwall. I also work with clients on Zoom. My work is relational, experiential, creative, embodied and practical in many parts with a holistic blending of somatic practices, breath work and conventional talking therapy. Each session is carefully adapted to meet the unique needs of my client. I have dedicated the last 14 years to working alongside a diverse range of conditions and challenges supporting individuals through trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, domestic violence, abuse, limiting unhelpful patterns, behaviours and neuro-diversity. I have also assisted those with physically limiting conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease and Parkinson’s. In addition to my private practice, I collaborate with my local council to support young people who have experienced traumatic events in their childhood. I also volunteer as a counsellor at West Cornwall’s Women’s Aid. Karly is a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and Yoga Alliance Professionals. I abide by the NCPS code of ethics, which is a set of principles and values that provide a solid foundation for safe and ethical practice.
